I think the nurses tunics are hot to wear during the summer. As my last nursery I worked at I was provide with a nurses tunic. Then when I moved to my current nursery I have been provide with a polo shirt and sweatshirt with the nursery logo on. The polo shirt can still be hot to wear but it is much better than a nurses tunic. The nursery I am working at is working on a idea of doing vests and sleeveless tops for next summer. Paul.

Hi Thought you would all like to know that my boss has relented because of the extremely hot weather (I quoted the TGWU recommendation that office dress code should be relaxed given how extremely hot the weather is just now), he has said yes to vest tops (though only in the colour of the polo shirt), not revealing and only to be worn in the nursery, if they take the children out then the polo shirts have to be worn. A very ggod compromise I think!!
