which software company would you suggest is best value for money that does not require paid after service support

all companies selling software to you will require an investment from you in after sales service, and believe me you will need it. Coldharbour is an excellent package, expensive but well worth the money and support after the initial out lay. Be warned if you buy a cheap system you will pay dearly in the long run, don't buy kindersoft, you will have more problems than solutions.

We are using Parenta's Abacus system. I think its really easy to use and understand. The staff there are really helpful too.

I have seen a demo of Parenta's system and I was very impressed it is not dissimilar to coldharbour.
