Hello Jacqueline,
Have you talked to the little boy's parents/carers about his behaviour? It would be useful to fing out whether he behaves like this in his home environment.
Could you find out, or do you know, if he has any particular interests or pre-occupations which you could home in on & build activities around. This may inspire him. Also, explaining why his behaviour is unacceptable & possible consequences may help, as may rewards for positive behaviour.
I would be interested to know how things progress.
