I thought your web site was pretty good and hope you get plenty of people responding to it. I, myself cannot comment on how you must feel as I qualified in 1993 as an NNEB. However saying that I totally agree with all what you said as your points were valid, straight to the point and justified. When you said the NNEB laid good foundations for you to build on with updating your learning and skills I couldn't agree with you more. I am currently doing an NVQ4 in management and am finding with my experience from working as a nursery nurse after qualifying has equipped me to succeed in this as well as alot of determination which I think you have so the very best to you.
Just one suggestion I did have regarding your site, I thought it would probably benefit you more to do a questionnaire type thing for people to email you or submit to the site regarding their feelings and what they are doing now. The reason I say this as alot of people wont be bothered to write to their MP's so why not make it easier for them to air their views.
