I have just started new job as a child develoment worker.As i have started to try and read up about the role i have'nt be able to find much information about child development workers.It would be nice to hear from any one who is doing the role or has any information about the job. thanks

It's a new role , which  of course i would have had to have some knowledge about. inorder to get the job. but i thought it would be nice to get more information as i have'nt come across much information about the job.and thought it would be interesting hear from other professoinals in the role.

what area are you a childcare development worker in? I was one for a LA and I found that the roles varied from place to place really, what specfically do you do?

We had a new childcare development worker who didnt seem to know what she was doing.   I was advising her...  she was on a LOT more money then me ie try £10000 more.    

anyway thats my moan,   goodluck in your new post, get some training from the local eARLY YEARS TEAM.

 i have recently come across a position for a child deveolpment worker and am currenlty writing out my application for it.

 it sounds like just the role i want to do, how are you getting on with your role? can you give me some more insight in to your day to day work?
