Hi I am just about to sign up for the above course which will then lead directly on to the BA in Nursery Management, this is with Hope University in Liverpool and is all on- line. Has anybody else signed up for this course, sounds interesting and I cant wait to get started!!!

Betahn You aren't being rude, costs about 2.5K, but I believe you can pay in stages and I have just received a booklet about grants and bursaries from them but havent had chance to read it yet, whatever it costs it will be worth it as OfSTED are saying all nursery managers will have to have a degree by 2010 (I think it was). That's a lot of money. Going on an accounting and time management course 2moro - hope it's not a waste a time! hee hee!
Would love to do the course, have requested info - hope I can get some money to do it cos it sounds fab!

Hi LittleAnna, Am going up to Liverpool for the induction on 11th April. What do you think of the course so far, is it worth it, are you enjoying it, what are the plus and minus points, how do you pay, how many hours of work do you do a night, oh I could go on!!!

Sorry not been on line for a while too much home work.The course is taking up a lot of my time but it is v interesting and relevent.I need to log on at least 3/4 times a week sometimes more if a piece of work is due in.I find some of the studying diff. as I am not very academic and on top of the fees dont forget the cost of books there are loads to buy.
The bit I find the hardest is the group work which we need to do together and I like to do things in good time and the others in my group are last min people.That said I have had some real probs at home lately and the group took on my bit too.
