Hi Jacqueline,
I work in a pre school setting and we to have to follow a tight budget, one of the best ways we have found to over come this is to join our local toy library, it costs a small fee to join but once thats done, you should be able to hire any dressing up clothes for the time needed.
They are also great for all types of equipment!!!

Thanks for your advice re toy library - unfortunately ours is only established 2 years now and there are no plans to include within the budget these types of specialised items - too many other everyday things to purchase such as jigsaws etc. I did try them first but have now resorted to making up a box specifically for Chinese then will move on to other cultures and make them available to anyone using the Toy Library on a borrowing basis.
