I'd be greatful for any opinions as to what you think are the key attributes of a professional Early years worker for my course research.

First the ability to get to know people and work with them reguardless of background!

Second to be able to get on a child's wave lenght!

Patience, sense of humour, love of children, understanding, energy, people skills, time, open mind,listening skills, be able to adapt and change, not be squeimish, be able to clean snotty noises, dirty bums and have a little one pee on your lap without flinching, and to top it all play, imagination and story telling.
