Then report it and let them face the concequences. It sounds that you have quite a few issues regarding your work. I worked in a private day nursery and i found it a pleasure. I have heard alot about the chains but have never had the experience.

we've heard a leapfrog may be opening near us. we find this very annoying as the couple local nurseries (including where i work) have worked for years building up reputations and trust and employing local people. these big nurseries just set up where they think they can make money not caring about local feeling (our nursery staff and owners who have lived here all their lives might now have their businesses in jeapardy. lots of parents dont care where they send their children to, as long as its cheap or a good image on show.

hi fab, we charge £26 a day or £13 per morning or afternoon session or £110 per week. we are open 730-6
includes breakfast, midmorning snack, 2 course lunch (homecooked) with fruit , fruit in pm and another snack at 4pm. parents have to provide nappies etc. all our staff are paid above the minimum wage (some only just though) what do you charge? and what are your staff paid?
ive just discovered this website and think its brilliant!
