I would love to organize some sort of party or special events for our pre-schoolers who are leaving to go to school like what a lot of pre-schools do but my problem is ours dont all leave on the sae date some leave the day nursery grant ends whilst others can stay with us until september
any ideas or suggestions as to what i could do to make it a memorable event for those leaving?

It is a very difficult thing to arrange. The nursery I work at is open 7 till 7 but most f the children have usually gone by 6.
Last year we had a party in the evening, which the staff very kindly agreed to help with. We asked the parents to pay £1 for a ticket which contributed towards a Magician.
But like I said it's a difficult thing to arrange due to your nursery's opening times and staffing the party.
Maybe you could arrange an evcvening party for all of the leavers to attend or do you have the room to have a small party in a different room and send a letter home to parents saying the party will be on such a date. Just remember you can't please them all!
