We have all the toothbrushes on a shelf. Each child has a toothbrush, tube of toothpaste, and a cup, and their toothpaste and toothbrush are inside the cup (toothbrushes put in upside down). All of the items are named/initialled with a thin permanent marker. We sterilise the cups and brushes once a fortnight. When we had ofsted and health and hygiene inspections in January (both with weeks of each other - ARGH!!), they said that was fine. Oh, that's in the 3-5 room, I'm not sure what the younger rooms do.
