Hi
I graduated from a Psychology degree last june and since then i have been trying to find a job working with young children. I applied for nursery assistants, teaching assistants in reception etc, and had no luck. I decided this must of been because i had no childcare qualification. I have had limited experience in nurseries and playcentres. But I am now considering starting a EYPS course at my local uni, and just wondered what people thought about this? I do not see any other way of getting into early years at the moment, without doing voluntary work. Views ive heard of EYPS so far have been pretty mixed, id would like to hear any comments. Thanks
