Ok, you get the few nurseries which are running well and the children are happy but im sure the staff arnt happy with the COMPANY.

I worked for my nursery for 2 years and i can honestly say that the last year i have been so unhappy with the company.

I wouldnt send my child to a leapfrog no...why.... because i know that Leapfrog the COMPANY doesnt really think into the childrens needs..it thinks into the money figures. Yes its a business and it has to think of the finacial outcome of things but since i have been at my nursery we NEVER recieved help of support from central office AT ALL!

Not even with providing the children with new toys to play with! Now if it were me i would certainly be getting bored of the same sort of toys being put out over and over again!

I know what other Leapfrogs are like... not that im condemning all nurseries but the ones that i have personally seen. I have been to a few briefly which are nice and ok.. have done well for themselves but then you visit a few which makes you wonder what has my nursery done so wrong to be closing instead of this one...as you have to keep telling yourself its just money to them!

When the parents walk in, in the mornings im sure the staff would agree, an automatic caring self comes out and you get on and care for the children... behind close doors however, people would agree Leapfrog have bitten off more than they can chew and as a result ARE losing customers and Staff.

I luckily am coming out of Childcare in October... why... because for the amount of responsibilty and the £600 a month (based on a 40 hour week!!!!!)its not worth it!

A different company has already offered me more than double my salary!

Im glad your daughter is happy and you are happy with your nursery! Just glad you didnt have to go though what my parents are having to go through now.

What nursery is your daughter at btw?
