hi,

i have never posted anything before.......

i am in the process of opening a town centre creche in yorkshire and have been reading through all of your comments. i have found them all so helpfull if not some a little scary   ha ha.

my creche will be offering parents/carers the chance to have a break and socialise,attend appointments,shop etc completely childfree for 2 hours at a time.

i have researched the need for this for the past 18months and have now semi-secured an ideal property.I was looking on this site origianally to find out how much i should be offering in the way of wages.so many of you are unhappy with your wage situation.any suggestions?

i would really appreciate any help or advice with regards to wages,min requirement of staff needed to children aged between 2yrs and 5yrs.

i have also been told that all i would require would be a manager in place with qualifications and the rest of my staff could all be employed on the basis of experience in the field,be volunteers or accessing training.this seems wrong some how as i would have thought children would have to be cared for by trained or in training staff members......

please please help.....    my intentions are not to make a million only to provide a much needed service of which i would have given my right arm for,so to speak,when my own three children were younger.
