Hi 106chick
I found your message quite interesting.
I am a parent from a local Leapfrog Nursery. I have to say that i disagree with your comment about not sending a child to another leapfrog. My daughter attends one of the local Leapfrogs to yourself and i am so happy with the staff there who care for her and always make us feel important. I never once doubt the standard of care my daughter receives as i am sure your parents feel the same about your nursery.
It is always hard when you have to change jobs especially under your circumstances but i don't think you should condemn all nurseries.
At the nursery where my daughter attends the Manager has been in situ for about a year and in that time the staff morale and standard of care has improved immensely.
I understand that as with all companies there are targets to hit and budgets to stick to and this does have an affect on being able to buy things.
I think it's great that you were all so dedicated to your nursery and when i look at my daughters nursery it also shows staff dedication which i feel makes a nursery individual.
You should all be proud of what you all achieved but please don't let it affect your views on other nurseries as you have to remember even though you were all Leapfrogs you all started off differently all with pro's and con's which attracted different parents and employees which doesn't make any of you right or wrong.
i wish you all well with your new jobs and for the future.
